We provide a wide range of primary health services to our patients. Currently, we have a team of 4 GPs, 4 Nurses, 3 Administration staff, and a Practice Manager.

I was born in the Netherlands and graduated from Otago University in 1989. I have been a GP at the Roslyn Health Centre since 1992. I enjoy all aspects of family medicine and especially helping people through their life journey. I also perform minor surgery and look after people at a local rest home and a boarding school. I enjoy living in Dunedin with my husband and 3 grown children. In my free time, I enjoy music, art, walking and gardening.

Dr Brent Wishart

MBChB, FRNZCGP, Bsc, DFFP

Born and raised in Mosgiel, I completed my medical degree at Otago University before moving to Sydney with my wife. 22 years and 2 children later we returned home to be closer to family and join the team at Roslyn Health Centre. I consider myself a true generalist, loving the wide scope and variety of caring for people in general practice setting. I have a special interest in mens health, preventative medicine, mental health and older people’s medicine. I perform minor skin procedures and enjoy teaching medical students at times throughout the year.
I find the pace of life in Dunedin refreshing and appreciate the cultural and recreational opportunities if has to offer. When not on duty, you’ll find me walking or biking around the many great hill tracks of Dunedin.

Dr Rachel Wensley

I graduated in NZ in 1995 and after working in New Zealand, I travelled to the United Kingdom where I lived for 10 years and did my GP training. I love living in Dunedin with my husband and 2 sons and when I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with them in the outdoors. Medical interests: Women’s health, Older person health, mental health, Paediatrics.

Dr. Sakila Thiruvadivel

I graduated from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland in 1997. I worked in Australia for two years and then moved to New Zealand where I worked as a GP in Hamilton.

I enjoy living in Dunedin with my husband and grown children. I love the diversity of people I see and love being able to offer continuity of care for people and building long-term relationships.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family playing board games, biking and hiking. I also enjoy gardening and reading.
